Afterschool Program

Age group: Reception to Year 5 children

Class time: Afterschool 3:40pm – 4:30pm (50 minutes)

• Linden Park Primary School: 14 Hay Road, Linden Park

There will be no session on the 10th of June which is the Kings Birthday Public Holiday.

Children will be grouped according to age/ability as coaches see fit

A great chance to have a hit around after school with your mates! Our Afterschool classes are here to help your child gain the basic skill set and show the confidence to get ready for the next part of their hockey journey…whatever that is! Your child will gain such skills as dribbling, hit timing and what part of the stick to hit with. Playing PlayStart’s ‘The Match’ weekly, will result in basic understanding of match rules and basic player positioning.

Hockey sticks and shins pads will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you have them. Although not compulsory, we do encourage your child to bring and wear a mouthguard for your child’s protection.
